The Judges expect that the parties will meet and confer as required by FRCP 26(f) to develop a proposed discovery plan. Certain Judges may require the filing of the Rule 26(f) report, while others are satisfied with the completion of the Rule 16 Scheduling Order. We will be pleased to provide you further information relating to the assigned Judge, once assignment has been made. Samples of the Rule 26 notices of discovery plan currently used can be found to the right. This District has developed a default standard for discovery of electronic documents or e-discovery. The Guidelines provide that e-discovery will be the subject of the Rule 26(f) conference as well as discussed at the Rule 16 scheduling conference.
